Open beta extended through the end of the 2026 FSBK season

We planned to launch this summer. We changed our minds. Here's why the Brake Point beta stays open — free, full-featured — through November 2026, after the FSBK Magny-Cours finale.

When we opened the beta in March, we talked about an official launch “for the summer.” We changed our minds. The Brake Point beta stays open — free, full-featured, no credit card — through the end of November 2026, after the FSBK Magny-Cours finale.

Here’s why.

A full season, or nothing

FSBK 2026 is six rounds: Le Mans, Lédenon, Nogaro, Pau Arnos, Le Vigeant, Magny-Cours. At each one, we’re in the paddock, watching riders upload their files, noting what works and what breaks.

Three rounds are behind us. BudAI has already been adjusted multiple times — vocabulary, the way it frames gains, integration of coach notes. But we’ve only seen half the season. Until we’ve absorbed Pau (short, hilly, technical), Le Vigeant (fast, hard on tires) and Magny-Cours (long, varied), we don’t know what’s still missing.

Launching a paid product while still learning from the field is launching badly.

What doesn’t change

  • Free for everyone through end of November 2026
  • 5 BudAI analyses per week on the Free plan, no hidden limits
  • All circuits, all supported formats (AiM, MoTeC, RaceLogic, I2M, Pi Research, RaceTech, 2D)
  • No credit card at sign-up
  • Your feedback drives the roadmap — that’s what got us folders, rider profiles, setup auto-fill from your data files

What we’re shipping through the rest of the season

Direct fallout from Nogaro feedback:

  • BudAI gain recalibration. The AI no longer quotes a “theoretical ideal lap.” It talks about realistic headroom — what you’ve already held on your top passes, so it’s reproducible. More honest, more useful.
  • Rider vocabulary. Less telemetry jargon, more paddock language. Corner names (Castagner at Nogaro, Adelaide at Magny-Cours) make it into the analyses.
  • Auto-filled setup. The .ldx, .Fork, .Shock integration keeps expanding to new loggers.
